Illustrated glossary of design vocabulary

1- Perception- the way humans of different cultures see things

Context- the material and non material combining to form an environment of a situation or story.

2- Culture

- the politics of a human being or an entire community including the history from its inception.





3- Primary resources- the first priority relying sources, material or non material.

Persona- the auro, emotion and nature of a human being or in some cases a material thing.

4- Assumption- the thought or judgment of a situation without hard facts 5- Stakeholder

- a person with a vested interest, usually financial in nature





6- Material component- components which give pleasure or sorrow of physical nature.

7- Non material component- components which cant be seen or touch and give mostly emotional pleasure or sorrow.

8- Warm color

- color from which feeling of summer, hapiness and love is derived.




9- Cool color

- color from which feeling calmness and solitude is derived





10- HUE White, Black and Grey are hue colors

11- TINTS adding white to the color

12- Tone adding grey to the color

13- shade adding black to the color

14- ANALOGOUS COLOURS

any three continuous color on the color wheel




15- PLATONIC SHAPE

any of the five geometric solids whose faces are all identical, regular polygons meeting at the same three-dimensional angles






16- ARCHEMEDIS SOLIDS

In geometry, an Archimedean solid is one of the 13 solids first enumerated by Archimedes.
