Learner's Journey Log: FVL-1

 • In this activity we had to use random lines and shapes with the different strokes used, we have to create patterns randomly and just have to explore the lines this activity help me to open up my brain for the lines and patterns that are creative with every new pattern my brain understood the strokes better, this was more of a brain exercise for.

 • In the activity now we had to create patterns using a particular shape that we have picked from the previous patterns that we have created, and by the repeated use of that particular shape we have to create elements of patterns the shape has to be repeated or by using the variation of different sizes in the same shape, the elements of the pattern that we are creating wasn't it had to be mapped before creating rather we have to just repeat the shape in a certain way in order to attain the observation that we had about the pattern or print, my struggle was to attain the pattern just by using the shape and not by mapping it before hand in continuation of the activity we had to do the similar with all the rest of the shapes such as squares and triangles.

 • In further activity we had to create element with the repetitive use of circle, firstly by making water droplets by circle and than in further the element that has to be made was a cloud which has to look like a abstract cloud with the use of different sizes of circles and shades in it. With my first attempt I got a feedback that it I just not had to create a cloud by using the circles on the outline of the cloud but also by filling the whole cloud with the circus inside also, this was my struggle part where I initially I wasn't able to imagine a cloud with so many circles and ta the same it maintain it's aesthetics, the feedback I understood it doesn't matter the number of circles we are using the depth and fluffy-ness of the cloud would be attained only with the proper balance of the no. of circles used and by the proper use of shading done in the circle in order to make it look like a abstract cloud just by using a shape.

 • In this activity we have to create shapes by using a single shape and not by using the lines for example we have to create a squared just by using a circle and by the repetitive use of circle and different sizes of it we had to attend a shape, & and continuation of this with a similar approach we have to create different shapes with the use of one particular shape and similarly we had to mix match the combination of square , circle and triangle. In this activity my learning was that it isn't important for us to only follow the basic or the traditional method always in order to attain a shape rather we can also use and explode different kinds of creative methods to attain a shape with the use of other available shapes around us. In the same activity we had to also explore different kinds of mediums and make all the shapes and combination that we have created with those different mediums such as the with the use of charcoal, pencil ,micron pen, paint etc.

• In this particular activity we had to follow the approach of mix matching different shapes as previously we had to now create forms instead of shapes where in we had to create a form using the repetitive views of a shape and of different sizes for example we have to create a cube with the use of circle, square and triangles separately, similarly we have to mix match all the shapes and its use with the shading we had to attain 3D forms.

In this activity we have to create prints, patterns and mainly explore different kind of textures with the use of ink, and also with the use of pencil and charcoal we had to explore the pressure and medium, wherein in we're not just had to create textures with the use of ink but also how to learn about the different strokes that we have created in that particular texture with differing the amount of pressure used on the brush in order to attain the different it depth and design in the texture created.

Daily document drawing activity that we do on the daily basis in order to practice sketching and hand work in order to make our hand more comfortable around sketching and open up our brain to new possibilities with next sketch or stroke that we have created, its a necessary and the most important part to explore around the lines and welcome new ideas and brainstorm with the sketches.
